On the Brevard County School Board, Jennifer Jenkins voted to make every child wear a mask in school, with no way for parents to say no. Three weeks later she voted to keep the rule going. The State of Florida penalized Brevard schools for it.

Another 3 to 2 vote to extend the mandate. The only way out for a child was a doctor's note.
